Dies ist eine Größenordnung, die den Flüchtlingsströmen im Kosovo nach Beginn der NATO-Angriffe auf Serbien/Jugoslawien entspricht – Früchte der Gewaltpolitik, die auf allen Seiten terroristischen Charakter hat. Gegen diese Gewaltpolitik demonstrieren in zunehmenden Maße Friedensgruppen in Nahost und in aller Welt. Oil has slicked one-third of Lebanon's coast, and threatens beaches in Syria, Cyprus, Turkey and Greece, yet no cleanup can begin until the fighting is over, says the UN.
