US border guard kills Mexican teen

The Mexican foreign ministry said on Tuesday that the 14-year-old boy died after a US border patrol officer opened fire from the US side of the border on a group who "threw stones".

Witnesses say killed Mexican teen wasn't throwing rocks at Border Patrol agent

Two witnesses to the incident told the Wall Street Journal's Nicholas Casey that Hernandez was standing on the Mexican side of the border with his hands up and had not thrown rocks at the agent.
