Künftig werden Nahrungsergänzungsmittel nicht mehr als Lebensmittel eingestuft, sondern als "Zusatzstoffe", die einer Einzelfall-Zulassung bedürfen. Das jedenfalls will das deutsche Bundesministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz (BMELV).

Wenn der in dieser Sommerpause eingebrachte Gesetzentwurf Wirklichkeit wird, dann werden rund 36 Millionen deutsche Verbraucher Nahrungsergänzungsmittel vorwiegend nur noch auf dem grauen Markt kaufen können.

Im Schutz der parlamentarischen Sommerpause hat das BMELV einen Gesetzentwurf vorgelegt, der mit scheinbar kleinen Änderungen gewollt oder ungewollt immense Auswirkungen auf einen ganzen Industriezweig und mehr als ein Drittel der Deutschen haben wird.

Nahrungsergänzungsmittel sollen nach dem Willen des Ministeriums nicht länger Lebensmittel, sondern Zusatzstoffe sein.

Würde das Gesetz so angenommen, würde jedes Nahrungsergänzungsmittel, jedes diätische Lebensmittel einer bürokratischen Zulassung bedürfen.

Mit diesem Vorgehen des BMELV wird nicht nur die bisherige Rechtsprechung des Bundesverwaltungsgerichtes ins Gegenteil verkehrt, sondern auch gegen das übergeordnete europäische Recht verstoßen.

Was nun?

Gegen Gesetzentwürfe können Einsprüche erhoben werden. Und diese Möglichkeit bitten wir Sie dringend zu nutzen.

Die Einspruchsfrist gegen die Gesetzesänderung ist sehr kurz gesetzt und läuft am 31. August 2010 aus. Deswegen benötigen wir dringlich Ihre Hilfe.

Je mehr Menschen gegen den falsch verstandenen Verbraucherschutz protestieren, desto größer ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass dieser Gesetzentwurf zurückgezogen wird.

Bundesbankvorstand muss Abberufung Sarrazins beantragen

Die Vorsitzende der LINKEN, Gesine Lötzsch, fordert den Vorstand der Bundesbank auf, die Abberufung von Thilo Sarrazin aus dem Führungsgremium der Notenbank zu beantragen. Dies ist nach Lötzschs Auffassung die einzige Möglichkeit, den wegen fremdenfeindlicher Thesen in der Kritik stehenden Sarrazin seines Amtes zu entheben. Gesine Lötzsch erklärt:

Sarrazin ist in einem öffentlichen Amt untragbar. Es muss alles getan werden, um ihn aus dem Vorstand der Bundesbank zu entfernen. Die Notenbank darf kein verantwortungsfreier Raum sein. Ein Spitzenbeamter, der Menschen aufhetzt, ist nicht akzeptabel. Der Bundesbankvorstand muss jetzt zum äußersten Mittel greifen. Das Führungsgremium der Notenbank muss bei Bundesregierung und Bundespräsident die Abberufung von Sarrazin beantragen. Das ist nach Lage der Dinge die einzige Möglichkeit, Sarrazin loszuwerden, wenn er einen Rücktritt ablehnt. Wenn die Selbstreinigungskräfte der Bundesbank nicht ausreichen, dann müssen wir ernsthaft darüber nachdenken, ob die Unabhängigkeit der Bank wirklich so weit gehen kann, dass man an der Spitze ungestraft solche Thesen vertreten darf. Das schadet dem Ansehen der Bundesbank und der Bundesrepublik.
